SYNQ / WEBSITE INFORMATION

Privacy & cookies

Synq operates this creative-agency website. For questions about your information, contact info@synqmedia.uk. This notice covers this website and enquiries sent through it.

What we collect

The enquiry form collects your name, email address, business name, selected service and any project information you choose to share. These details come directly from you. Name, email and business name are needed to handle the form; the message is optional. Please do not send passwords, financial details or other sensitive information.

Why we use it

We use enquiry details to respond, discuss your brief and arrange a call or proposal. Where you ask us to take steps towards a contract, we use the information for those steps. Otherwise, our legitimate interest is responding to business enquiries and running a secure website. The form does not sign you up to a marketing mailing list or make automated decisions about you.

Services that handle the information

Formspree receives and stores form submissions and emails them to info@synqmedia.uk. Namecheap Private Email handles this mailbox, which forwards incoming messages to Synq’s Gmail account. Website hosting and delivery use OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare infrastructure. These providers may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and security logs, to deliver and protect their services.

These services may process information outside the UK. Their published terms describe their processing locations and transfer arrangements. You can ask Synq about the arrangements applying to your enquiry. See Formspree’s privacy policy, Namecheap’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy, OpenAI’s privacy policy and Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer your request, handle follow-up discussions and retain necessary business records. We consider whether the enquiry remains active, whether it becomes a client project, and any legal record-keeping needs. Formspree’s free dashboard currently retains submissions for 30 days; this does not delete email copies. Contact us if you want information removed or need details of the retention applying to your enquiry.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion or restriction, and request a portable copy where applicable. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Rights depend on the circumstances and any legal need to retain information. Send requests to info@synqmedia.uk.

If you are concerned about how your information is handled, contact Synq first. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.

Cookies, local storage and analytics

Our website code does not add advertising cookies, analytics cookies or visitor-tracking local storage on page load. Analytics tracking is not currently enabled. Fonts and the main portfolio films are served from this website. Hosting providers may use essential security technologies.

Optional YouTube music video

The Sony Music credit can open a music-video dialog. Opening the dialog does not load Google’s player. Only choosing “Load & play video” connects to YouTube using its privacy-enhanced player at youtube-nocookie.com. Google then receives connection and playback information, such as your IP address and device details, and may use cookies or similar technologies. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no information is processed. See Google’s privacy policy.

You can decline by closing the dialog without loading the video. Closing it removes the player and stops playback. Consent is not saved: loading the player again requires another choice. Alternatively, “Watch on YouTube” opens the video on YouTube, where Google’s own terms and settings apply. Instagram, WhatsApp and other external links also take you to services with their own privacy and cookie policies.
